New Products

Kevin Alvey of Gore Galore announces their new product line up for 2002 including: Lestercution, their Lester character is strapped to a 45 degree gothic table with lots of electrical eye candy. This motorized animation comes complete with ECT with PIR, digital audio sound system, fogger, and control receptacles for lighting. (Sound Effects by Hedstorm Productions). The Mummys Crypt, a mummy lies prone in a crypt filled with lighted fog. When the pneumatic animation is activated, the mummy groans and sits up quickly with fog rolling out of the crypt. It comes complete with ECT with PIR, digital audio, fogger, and fog chiller (also available as a static corpse.) Dizzy Lizzy, an emaciated dead ballerina standing over 9 tall, on a music box. When the animation is activated the characters body spins dizzyingly fast while her head remains facing forward and the music from the box increases in intensity. The animation comes complete with ECT with PIR, digital audio, and control circuits for lighting. (Sound Effects by Hedstorm Productions). The Body Banger and The Head Banger, made to use with Gore Galore severed heads and the new half corpse. The mechanism is designed hold the prop parallel to the ceiling but when activated the prop slams down to a vertical position into Lexan or in front of a hole. It can be mounted on the wall or ceiling and comes complete with mechanism, half corpse, and ECT with PIR. Ben the Bogman, a flatbacked latex and polyfoam corpse prop, in a very uncomfortable position. Big Mouth Gargoyle and Skully are a new line of “Fog Heads.” Rigid foam faces with 9V LED eyes that mount on the wall with fog piped through their mouths, complete with 2” pvc couplers mounted in the foam. Gore Galore will also be carrying Haunt Music CDs by Dr. Graves, masks by Lubatti Illusions, and the "Pierce" Severed Head sculpted by Jeff Wehenkel. Ghost Ride Productions, Inc. of Hollywood, CA, will be showcasing several new products developed and tested over the past Halloween season at the Chicago show. The development of the UA-Series controller represents a new breed in cost effective, field programmable controllers. This User Adjustable (UA) controller is factory programmed and allows the user to modify controlled variables though an LCD screen down to 0.01, (1/10th of a second). Multiple voltages can be used at once, along with several input and output terminals. After nine months of theme park field-testing, Ghost Ride Productions will present the Scare Blaster(TM) Interactive Kiosk. Constructed with many options and application variables, this themed kiosk allows for guest interaction within the Dark Attraction environment and can be set up for coin operation. Ghost Ride Productions will also be introducing Cobwebs in a Can(TM), the newest concept to dark attraction set decorating. This 17-ounce spray aerosol produces a dull, cream-colored web that is non-flammable, very durable and is applied in seconds. With a tentative release date of August 2002, the follow up to Gates of Delirium" promises to be a return to the more traditional gothic stylings of Born of the Nigh" and Realm of Shadows. Monster Mayhem Productions announces three new videos available for purchase. How to Haunt Volume 2, is a 2 hour prop making video that shows you how to build a Wall, a Sneak Attack Pop Box, a Death Chair, and Fog Chiller. Wayne Troth of Ex Mortis has been busy for the past few months coming up with their 2002 lineup of products as well as doing several custom projects for rocker Rob Zombie. The Zombie projects involved two custom character masks for a video, duplicat­ing 18 fiberglass mannequins from the film "A Clockwork Orange" for another video, as well as handling the production of the "eye candy" of the entire stage show of his current tour: 5 giant robot suits and all of the sculpture and produc­tion of the giant creature facades adorning the stage itself.
