Jeff and Chris Davis are the creators of The Davis Graveyard. A popular yard haunt in the Portland, Oregon area. Known for its incredible tombstones, great lighting and attention to detail, the Davis Graveyard is one of the best home haunts in the country. What makes the Graveyard truly great is the passion that the couple has for Halloween.
Jeff and Chris Davis love Halloween. They grew up watching The Adams Family, The Munsters, Night Gallery and the Groovy Goolies. When they got older they went to haunted houses, bought Don Post monster masks and built Aurora Monster models. They read every issue of Famous Monsters, House of Secrets comics and bought every horror picture book they could get their hands on.
So when it came time to decorating the house for Halloween, they couldn’t be satisfied with just a few store bought decorations in the yard. Years ago when they bought their house with its large trees, and brick and wrought iron fencing we knew that it was destined to be decorated for Halloween, as the ultimate cemetery.
In the past few years, the Davis couple began to experiment with LCD projects and different types of projection materials to create the signature Davis Graveyard ghost effects. The graveyard currently has four different projected effects.
