WHAT IS YOUR HAUNT DOING FOR CHARITY? Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce benefits American Diabetes Association

September 10, 2009 – Bristol/Southington, CT β The Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce is proud to announce their partnership with the American Diabetes Association this year. The attraction will open Saturday October 2, and run weekends through the end of the month, and proceeds will benefit ADA.
βThe Haunted Graveyard at Lake Compounce has always supported the fight against diabetes, and this year marks our second year working with ADA. They are an important association who is grateful for our involvement in donating to their very important cause.β Says Lake Compounce Marketing Director Sara Webb.
The park grounds will be transformed into a spooky setting with live actors swarming the midway dressed to thrill. Gates open and rides will operate beginning at 5pm, but Kiddeland and Splash Harbor water park will be closed. The Haunted Graveyard show opens at dusk. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to purchase their timed tickets, and then enjoy the park until their show time.
This attraction is rated PG for Pretty Ghoulish, and is not intended for small children or adults who may be frightened easily.
Dates of operation are: October 2, 3, 9-11, 16-18, 23-25, 30, 31. Pricing for anyone age 11 or younger is $12.99 for rides only, $13.99 for Haunted Graveyard only, or $20.99 for both. Pricing for those 12 years of age and older is $17.99 for rides only, $19.99 for Haunted Graveyard only, or $29.99 for both. Group rates available. Visit www.lakecompounce.com for more details.

Our haunt beinfits the Oregon School for the deaf, we’ve been doing it for 21 years this season. We do a massive food drive, raising tons of canned food for our local food shares.
It’s nice to see others doing this too…
The Haunted House of Moss Beach has been 100% donations to UNICEF since 1999 except in 2001 ,when we split proceeds with the Red Cross. We have contributed over $5,000 to UNICEF.
