Chamber of Horrors Haunted House, New Orleans, LA
October 28th, 2009
My last haunted house visit in New Orleans was the Chamber of Horrors Haunted House which you can’t help but notice when you drive by it thanks to the great looking facade.
When I got to the Chamber of Horrors Haunted House, high school football games were still going strong so I hit it before the crowd really started building. I see from a sign on the property that the haunt often works with the local blood center and provides a free ticket if you donate blood, but what is most noticeable is the very cool facade these guys have. See the photo below.
The scenes inside the haunt also looked good. The lighting was well done and presented dark spaces along with well lit scenes. I really enjoyed the acting too. The actors chose their hiding places perfectly and delivered a great performance across the board though the scarecrows were particularly good.
If you get the chance to visit haunted houses in New Orleans then I suggest you add this one to your list. Its a solid haunt with great acting. Thank you for the show and I hope you have a great season.
