With the night still young and the address of Horror Hill I got from Joe at 13 Stories, I headed out to the country to visit Horror Hill Haunted Attraction in Newnan, GA. It was a long drive but decided to go for it based on Joe Manzo’s involvement.

I was having difficulty with my GPS on my Blackberry so along with a new computer, I went ahead and got a GPS device to hopefully make things smoother (I should have taken Tim Dunne’s when he offered it in New Hampshire). Since it was new, I didn’t have a lot of faith in it and started questioning when I had driven fifteen miles without seeing another car or traffic light. But I pressed on and eventually made it to Horror Hill.

Horror Hill Haunted Attraction has four different elements: Horror Hill Haunted Trail, Vertigo Trail, The Mortuary and Clown Haus 3D. There was a decent crowd for a Sunday night so I fast passed it found a good group to go with. The first one we went through was The Mortuary which was an indoor walkthrough and was pretty creepy and got our group to scream in several different spots. Vertigo Trail was next that was dark and full of crazy nurses who did a great job interacting with the group. The next one was Clown Haus 3D and I’m sure needs no explanation as I think most of you can figure out what it is. It didn’t change my mind on 3D haunts but was fun thanks to the fact that one of the group had a clown issue.

The final haunt is the main event and is a very lengthy trail through the woods, Horror Hill Haunted Trail. The trail featured a large variety of scenes – some from horror movies but the rest of my group apparently don’t watch many so I had to explain a few.

If you visit the website and read the About section you can hear how the owner, Allyn Glover started the haunt and the important role his father and mother played in helping him make Horror Hill what it is today. Thanks for the show and I hope you have a great season.
