The Haunted Mine Haunted House is actually located in Fawn, PA at the Tour-Ed Mine. Once a functioning coal mine, the mine is now is used to educate people about coal mines and show them what it is like. During October however, the mine is transformed into a haunted house. (read more)

I was really looking forward to getting to Pittsburgh to visit The ScareHouse. I had visited a couple of times previously but never during the season. I got there early so one of the owners/producers of the show, Scott Simmons met me downtown at Primanti’s and then we headed to the Haunted House. (read more)

On a Monday night this early in the season I couldn’t find any Haunts to visit until Bill and Jayme Criscione offered to open up Ghostly Manor just to give me a chance to see his show. I am glad he did because Ghostly Manor is an impressive Haunt and I really enjoyed my visit. (read more)

The last Haunt of the evening was actually two haunted houses at the Gibraltar Trade Center named Fear Factory and Castle of the Dead. Both Haunts were good, but I have to admit I liked Castle of the Dead better. (read more)

Deadly Intention Haunted House

After my trip to The Realm of Darkness, I headed out to Deadly Intentions Haunted House. I made a point to see this Haunt because I received a tip from Noah at City Blood who told me it was worth visiting – and I’m glad I took his advice. (read more)

There aren’t many Haunted Houses open on Sunday night this early in the season, but I found The Realm of Darkness Haunted House was open and paid them a visit. This Haunt has some amazing detail and scene decoration that are absolutely world class. (read more)
