Hangman’s Haunted House Chooses to Thrill the World

Fort Worth, TX – Hangman’s House of Horrors joins with others across the globe on October 24, 2009 to perform the largest simultaneous dance around the world – Michael Jackson’s, “Thriller.” Hangman’s hopes to recruit over 500 volunteers to learn the Thrill the World version of “Thriller” and dress in their best “Zombie” at 7:30 p.m. that evening to dance.
In 2009, Hangman’s House of Horrors celebrates its 21st year as the top charity-benefiting haunted house in the WORLD! To date, the house has entertained over half a million patrons and donated more than $1.6 million to local charities!
To learn the dance, come to one (or several) Teaching Seminars open to the public that will include a quick, “How to Become a Zombie” make up and costume session. All seminars will be held at Hangman’s, located at I-30 and Forest Park Blvd, one mile west of downtown Fort Worth.

Thrill the World set a new world record with the Record Holders Republic in 2008, with 4,179 people from 10 nations simultaneously performing the Thriller dance. A new record has been set with the Record Holders Republic: On Oct. 25, 2008, 4,179 people from 10 nations (Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Scotland, United States of America, and Wales) simultaneously performed The Thriller Dance as part of the Thrill the World event, organized by Ines Markeljevic of Canada.
