“Dead Acres is the place to be. Sickest Haunted House in all of history!” That’s one of the lines from the Dead Acres radio commercial I heard on my drive into Pataskala, Ohio to visit Dead Acres and walk through the Haunted Hoochie and Bad Trip in 3D on Sept 24th.  I didn’t get sick, but I did have an awesome time. I got the chance to visit The Terrorfest in Columbus, Ohio Thursday night during their preview event for media and some radio winners. Scenic detail, top-notch animations, and quality acting were all on display on what seemed to be a pretty smooth first night. (read more)

Haunted Attraction Magazine and its contributors have traveled across the country visiting haunted attractions and have interviewed haunted house owners about their favorite haunts. We think it’s too difficult to say that one haunt is better than another—after all, each haunt has its own style, pace, and thematic approach. So instead of declaring the haunts we like as the “best,” we’re featuring 25 Haunts that we think provide incredible haunting entertainment, unique events, and fantastic fun. We all have different opinions about what we like in a haunt: some like mood, others like gore; some prefer state-of-the-art animatronics, while others love actors. After visiting the Haunted Hotel Haunted House in Louisville, I was ready for more Haunt adventures so I drove across the river into Indiana to visit the Industrial Nightmare complex that contains three attractions, Industrial Nightmare, Dementions and Pitch Black. After, the intense fun at Haunted Hotel, Industrial Nightmare had a lot to live up to. (read more)
