What are your plans

March 13th, 2010

I'm going, and I'm bringing several of our actors
We're staying in our own beds. We only live an hour-and-a-half drive from downtown
We're hoping to hear...... well, I'd better not say. Let's just say there's a better chance for hell to freeze over before I hear what I'd like to hear ;-)
We're hoping to see many of the friends we've met online but never met in person. I'm really anxious to meet Ed from Midnight Syndicate and Dan Faupel.
We're hoping to find masks, makeup, and costuming stuff

Overall, I don't know if this is the show for us. I have watched tons of video from last year, and it looks like a lot of expensive animatronics. We don't use that stuff, nor can we even begin to afford it. We build 90% of our own props, so most of the stuff we buy is in the form of masks, makeup, music, and lighting. We even make most of our lighting. We build LED lighting systems from scratch for about 1/10 the cost the companies are selling them for.

We're mainly going because it will be a cheap getaway and hopefully some good motivation to get us fired up and ready for the upcoming season.
